It increases testosterone concentration in males greater than the revered and idolacized BENCH PRESS, and is arguably the best exercise to sculpt a Hollywood butt. Most people avoid the Squat because it's difficult, but really, it's just misunderstood like any poor teenager locked away in its room listening to loud music. Rule #1 with Squats: If you can't squat properly with zero weight, you won't be able to squat properly with ANY weight. Steps involved: 1) Collar the weight! 2) Make sure bar is at appropriate level 3) Steady yourself under the bar in whatever way is most comfortable to you, placing the bar across your traps and below your neck. 4) Grip the bar slightly wider than shoulder-width. 5) Keep back straight. It helps to look up or at a fixed point directly ahead. 6) Descent to level of comfort (I advocate at least 90 degrees) 7) Ascend WITHOUT BOUNCING 8) Be awesome.
