I want to talk to you about mood swings, and their possibility, when using testosterone.

When you inject testosterone it can rapidly increase your hormone levels if the product does not have an ester attached to it. Esters slow the release of testosterone in the body, so you get a smoother experience with injectable testosterone.

The smoothest release of testosterone is with cream, because you are doing it on a daily basis at the same time each day with the same dose. This helps you to avoid the roller coaster when injecting Testosterone, or applying a transdermal gel or lotion of the medication.

It's very important that you avoid the swings when undergoing a testosterone protocol prescribed by your doctor, and your doctor will be knowledgeable about how to avoid this particular side effect.

So when you start testosterone, you will experience its peaks, but also it crashes if you stop the therapy, this is why you want to ease in slowly and ease out slowly when doing this kind of program. If you experience mood swings when doing a once a week injection, you can correct this by doing a half-dose twice a week. This is why testosterone cream is a lot smoother, than the 1x a week or 2x a week injections. However, it should be known, that most patients like the injections more than the cream on average.

There may be times initially that you experience increased sexual desire and stimulation, be careful you might engage in risky sexual behavior. Be aware that there also might be some sexual lows when first starting out, though they are rarer, and more likely to occur when you are experiencing testosterone lows.

Be aware that T levels will sometimes dip below normal levels when ending a protocol cycle, which can be an unpleasant experience, it can even bring on negative emotions like sadness or depression if you are not aware of how to mitigate these things. This is why our testosterone programs are doctor / physician-supervised, so you avoid these crashes, by a slow easing into the program and slow easing out of the program near the end of the cycle. This smooths things out nicely.

The commonest forms of injectable testosterone are propionate, cypionate, and enanthate, each one of these has a different half-life, which means each one stays in your body for different lengths of time, and it's important to know the difference. Put your info in our communication form and we can talk about the differences with you.

Be aware of aromatization, which is a fancy way of saying excess testosterone converts to estrogen. A simple estrogen blocker pill can stop this from happening.  This is why you never want to do big doses of propionate testosterone, cypionate testosterone or enanthate testosterone, only the cautious and optimal dose you will be prescribed by our physicians.

Also, be aware of your own allergies, some testosterone is suspended in sesame seed oil, or cottonseed oil, and other different oils, ask our doctors to make sure they put you on an oil which you are not allergic too.

Lets talk, fill out the contact form.
