Testosterone cream can raise levels in the body too high, resulting in an overage. This surplus can present itself in the form of mild to moderate acne on the face, chest and back.

Testosterone cream when used to prevent hair loss can actually reverse it too much, resulting in an overgrowth of hair. Hair may also begin to grow in abnormal and new places on the body.

Testosterone cream may raise the levels in the body too high, to where brain functions are interrupted. Certain parts of the brain that interact with testosterone also are responsible for mood, causing the possible onset of depression and anxiety.

Testosterone cream may harm the prostate, causing excessive levels of testosterone to promote unneeded swelling and growth of the glands. In men especially, this can lead to major concerns down the road.

Skin irritations and allergic reactions may occur at the point where the testosterone cream was applied. Symptoms can vary in intensity.

An excess of testosterone through the use of testosterone cream can bring about headaches. Dizziness may also occur.
